Muynak – Desert in the Aral Sea
Muynak was one of the largest fishing cities in Central Asia. Here was clear water with river fish, wonderful beaches with numerous recreation areas. Now the city is located by the dry sea, and once it was possible to get to the city only by sea or by plane.

Popular landmarks
Despite the lost glory, the city remains an interesting object for tourists and explorers of the seabed. There you can see and visit:
✔️ Ships graveyard
✔️ “Muynak” Yurt camp
✔️ Aralkum desert
✔️ Ustyurt Plateau
✔️ Museum of Local History of Muynak,
✔️ extreme racing.
Climate 🌡
The climate in Muinak is a little bit humid and, accordingly, not particularly rainy. In winter, it can be very windy and cold, because due to climatic changes that have occurred in recent years, the city has actually turned into the desert. Summer is hot and arid, but sometimes in the evening, the typical coolness of the region comes down and sometimes even makes you put on a jacket.
Gifts and souvenirs 🛍
Souvenirs in Muynak can be found mainly in the city centre. For the most part, these are works of sewing art, such as skullcaps, wallets, bags and scarves with national patterns. Large-scale preparations are underway to launch a souvenir production with a marine theme.
